Frequently asked questions
How it works on a call
Yes on the line you can call right now: the agent identifies itself as an AI voice agent and says the call is transcribed, in its greeting. Those words are a fixed line in the code rather than something the agent composes, so they are the same on every call to that number. Disclosure rules differ by state, so the exact wording on a customer line is [being set with each operator].
Yes. Overflow-only is a natural setup: your staff answer as usual and the agent picks up after a set number of rings, after hours, or during your rush. It can also answer everything. You choose, and you can change it.
Sometimes the honest answer is not yet, and our intake is built to say so. Call the readiness line and the agent will ask a few questions about how your phone gets used, then give you a straight recommendation on the call, including whether now is the right time at all.
English only today. If many of your callers speak another language, say so on the intake call, because it changes our recommendation.
The agent tells the caller plainly that it is having a technical problem, apologizes, and invites them to call back, rather than looping or going silent. Our monitoring flags degraded calls automatically and escalates to our team when trouble repeats.
What you get and own
You get full written transcripts of every call, turn by turn, available on request. We promise only what is running. Right now that is transcripts. If we add audio recording later, we will offer it plainly and we will never assume it.
The agent's replies are its real output, unedited. We wrote the caller's lines ourselves, as a test script for a difficult caller, so no customer is speaking in that demo. Both voices you hear are synthetic.
Tell us about the call. We pull the transcript, confirm what the agent actually said, fix the underlying cause, and report back what we found and what we changed. Problems that affect live service are worked the same business day.
Call transcripts are treated as your business records. When you ask us to remove your data, we remove it from our live systems. Copies inside our database provider's routine backups age out on that provider's schedule, and short-lived operational logs age out on their own. On our side, access is limited to the people doing the work on your account, and as part of the managed service we can review transcripts from your line to retune the agent when it gets something wrong. Running the call takes outside services: they carry the call, turn speech into text and back, and compose the replies. Each one is used under its own published terms. We do not sell your call data and we do not share it for anything other than running your line. The intake call covers how your data is handled on your line, and the written policy is published at opsautomated.co/privacy.
Ask us for any call and we send you the transcript. Self-serve access is planned; until it ships, every transcript request is handled by a person on your account, the same business day.
Setup, price, and leaving
A one-time install fee, then a flat monthly fee per location: $249 for a single line, $749 for a location with every number it answers on, and $1,499 for up to three locations. The install is charged once, before the line goes live, and we quote it for your business after an infrastructure review, because what it takes to put an agent on your line depends on how your phones are set up today. The monthly does not move with any of that. Every number at a location is included at no extra charge, and we do not meter your calls by the minute. Custom integrations are scoped individually. Both fees are confirmed with you before anything is billed.
No. You keep your number and forward it to the agent, which takes minutes and reverses just as fast. If you prefer, we can port the number or set up a new one.
Remove the forwarding and your line behaves exactly as it did before, within minutes. There is no long-term contract, and your number stays yours.

Two minutes with the agent. It asks how your phone actually gets used, and tells you at the end whether this fits.
